I have been remiss on my blogging duties and I apologize. There are several posts to upload. This post was written last week on Thursday night.What a great night! I got home after work and before I could even blink Shiatra, Saak, Krys, Chiki ( a recent 70) and I headed out to BM to get my Key. Off we went and 40 minutes later I had my pass to Kara!
Woot!
I don’t know if it is because Bre has become my Main in the last few weeks or the idea of going in with my hunter just had me all a flutter, but I kept /cheer for about five minutes.
Then just as we finished, Zeipher (another officer and shadowpriest) says in guild chat:
You guys want to do Kara?
I spammed whisper until the poor boy relented and I got an invite into the raid.
Fast forward a ½ hour later and here I am ready to enter Kara’s gate. Not with my former squishy mage, but with my badass mail-wearing, red-turning, gun-totting self.

The run itself couldn’t have gone better. We had plenty of shackles and /gasp Krys and I were allowed to trap!
Have I mentioned I love my guild.
We get to Attumen and Midnight. One-shotted them both to the barn floor! And guess what purple goodness dropped?

I floundered for a moment, because while yes, it was an upgrade (there was a boost in hit ,attach power and damage from my Ornate Khorium Rifle) I wasn’t totally convinced by the loss of the agility (which helps Pookie and Lola), whether the arrows, which can not compare to the Adamantie Shells would give me the same damage and well, it was a BOW…eh. But Krys, Shia, Saak and Zeipher, beat some sense into to me and I received this lovely lady in my bags.
Dr. Boom here I come.
P.s DPS report. Entered Kara with two shadow priests, a rogue, another hunter, two tanks and three healers. End of the night, after downing Attunmen, Maiden, Moroes and Opera, where did little DC stand? In the top 3, with Krys and our great friend Lusciouslola, the rogue, to keep us company.
God, I love being a hunter!
Also, happy to report that with my new Khorium Scope and Warden's Arrows, my purple beauty is pumping out more then my previous DPS sweetness.
Now if I only get the Big Bad Wolf to drop Wolfslayer Sniper Rifle I would be in Heaven!

Grats on the X-Bow. Got mine on my first trip to Kara as well (wasuing the telscopic Sharp Rifle). I want the Wolf Slayer so badly. I can hardly hear my shots to do my rotation with the x-bow & bows. I recomend getting the premo arrows from CE if you're Rev. Not as good as the AS ammo, but good enough. I carry about 2000 of the CE arrows , and break them out for the bosses. too costly to burn them on trash.
Nice bow drop. I miss being in Kara but last time I was there I was a Warlock and really wanted to be a Hunter.
Hope this new realm offers a good guild like yours for some good times.

Regarding CE arrows-check. Got them that night. Why is it that the highest level arrows are only sold in an non-flight path area? I, mean, really they have a flight path Orebor Harborage, you don’t think they should have moved it to CE /Rant. Since I have never been a bow user I have only half- heard the wails from bow users and their arrows. Now that I am using one, I look at my adamantie shells sitting in my bank with a heavy sigh.
Also,like you, I miss my ‘boom’, and that lovely recoil animation when she shot her gun. Now is sounds more like a light ‘thump.’

Now that I have been in Kara as a Hunter, I don’t know if poor Bel is ever going to see in the inside of Kara again:P
